Protecting your data is our priority
Making sure you’re confident that your information is safe and will only be used for reconnecting you with your unclaimed money is extremely important to us.
Here's how we're doing it
We have obtained the Information Security Management Certificate ISO 27001.
This matches the industry standard for data security.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner and our Data Protection Registration number is ZA755705.
The financial institutions who provide us with information on their ‘gone away’ customers go to extensive lengths to ensure their data will be held and processed securely. Vestigium Services has passed full due-diligence exercises with all its financial services clients.
Your data will be held in our secure database forever (unless you ask us to remove it.) We promise we will never share, sell, or market this data. It will only be used by us to help reunite you with your money.
Our Data Centre
The Data infrastructure that holds Vestigium Services’ data has been awarded the Cyber Essentials Plus certificate. The Data facilities are audited by QMS who have accredited them ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO22301, and ISO27001. This means that they also continuously establish, maintain, improve and implement an information security management system that meets all requirements set out by Certification Europe.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
GDPR ensures that your data belongs to you.
Vestigium Services is registered with the Information Commissioner Office with registration number ZA755705. Vestigium Services commitment is to abide by the general provisions under GDPR and your right as a data subject to:
